Written mostly between Christmas 2019 and New Year 2020, ‘Sunday, Someday.’ is a reflection of the continuous Sunday feeling of the Christmas holidays. Starting with the birds singing early in the morning, time soon slips through to lunchtime and the afternoon before quickly heading for darker feels. With Monday morning around the corner (or going back to work, in the case of Christmas holidays), there’s hardly any time to relax before it’s all gone.

The video game influences of previous albums come back strong on this record; spacey video game feels meet with more ambient soundtrack style synths for a complete journey through a day.

Once again the cover design is a collaboration with Jonathan Wentworth who designed the main character on the front, floating above the Earth, holding both a sun and moon in their hands, spanning the divide between day and night time feels. Every time I revisit this album I find myself slipping back into a Sunday mood.
