Nathan Fitzpatrick

With over 30 albums released thus far, under several project names and more to come in future, Nathan Fitzpatrick is a champion of the album format. Starting in 2008 with the release of ‘Tempest’ a guitar album, he began to develop his skills and take influence from electronic music, video games, and media in general.

In 2015 he started to release music under the ‘Ghost Hall’ project name, with samples from public service education videos, and a focus on a darker, more threatening mood. Ghost Hall albums have been inspired by the Kowloon Walled City, British nuclear safety announcements, and American army propaganda amongst other topics.

2020 saw the release of ‘The Big Beat Manifesto’, a new project using samples from film and television alongside a more big beat electronic style influenced by Hideki Naganuma of Jet Set Radio soundtrack fame, as well as Fatboy Slim, The Prodigy and The Chemical Brothers.

Also in 2020 was the release of ‘Rhythm Of The Gods’. This was Nathan’s first video game soundtrack (at least with a video game to accompany it - as earlier work had touched on a video game sound, with concepts for video games driving the work). Rhythm Of The Gods released on March 23rd 2020 on Steam, Nintendo Switch, Xbox and Playstation.

More recent releases have included a trilogy of albums (‘Sunday Someday, Up In The Sky, and Moments’) with lo-fi roots, and a tinge of video game influence. These albums have featured the same central character on the cover and share a mood.

Trapped!! is the most recent album to be released - this features tracks and music which was first worked on in 2021. As a video game concept album, it follows the journey of Li’l Bro who gets trapped in the video game world and must work his way through different worlds and genres of video game in order to escape. With an accompanying visual project to be released alongside it, the album is out on August 31st 2026.

Future album plans include additions to the Ghost Hall and Big Beat Manifesto catalogue, as well as a journey into more ambient drone influenced music.
